The dictionary defines “torchbearer” as someone in the forefront of a campaign, crusade, or movement. Torchbearer World Outreach believes that ALL who trust in Jesus have been placed uniquely in the forefront, on the front lines, in the Kingdom of Heaven. The torchbearer is not a single person, pastor, teacher or evangelist, but each and every person who places their hope in Jesus.

With this understanding, we work to provide opportunity for the average Christian to share their faith. We believe that it's not until a wide and diverse grassroots mobilization of Christians occurs that this country will see a significant and lasting change. For much too long, the work of Christian ministry has been relegated to the “trained and the ordained.” All the while, far too many average believers fill church pews year after year and miss out on the joy and adventure of sharing their faith.

Outreach Coaching

Working with Torchbearer begins with a preliminary evaluation of your current outreach strategy. Following the evaluation and prayerful consideration recommendations will be made. Taking into account your needs as well as our availability your options may include one of the following:

Torchbearer Gold

Over the course of a one-year period we will design, develop and implement a substantial and sustainable community outreach effort. This plan will reflect the distinct character of your congregation, building upon your history and maximizing your strengths and unique culture. During the year a capably equipped team will be built in order to carry on the work. Included in this package are regularly scheduled visits on Sunday mornings as well as mid-week consultations and strategy meetings. This is our top offering and best if you are ready to make a significant and lasting impact in your community and your church!

Torchbearer Silver

This level consists of an in-depth evaluation of your current outreach strategy along with long-term recommendations. Also included are 4 weeks of on-site coaching and vision casting to include the development and implementation of 4 unique outreaches. This level is best suited for a church with an already functioning outreach strategy. If you need an added shot in the arm or some refocusing this option is for you!

Special Events

Items in this category include guest lecturing, speaking at conferences, pulpit supply, Q & A panels as well as contributions to print, radio and television. As our schedule permits we are eager to accommodate any of the aforementioned requests.
