Traveling all across the United States, Dallas & Tanya Low see a country that increasingly turns its gaze away from Jesus. Exemplifying this trend, church attendance from 1965 to 1994 dropped from 42% to 26%. Current estimates suggest a number below 20%. More important than church attendance statistics, Torchbearer World Outreach works to empower Christians to boldly and creatively share their faith on an individual level.

On the subject, Dallas shares his thoughts,

“I see a significant missing piece in current church outreach strategy. Many successful programs are developed and implemented and positively impact communities. However, these programs typically don't tap into the extraordinary potential of the millions of average Christians. How many times do we do an outreach only to have the same small group of people participate? It's our goal to work with churches to establish consistent, sustainable outreach that engages the entire Body. We're talking about a cultural shift both for the Church and for the surrounding community. People need the hope that only Christ can give!”

Working with Torchbearer includes a preliminary evaluation of your current outreach strategy and 4 weeks of on-site coaching to guide a church through the start-up process. When schedules won't accommodate the full 4 full weeks Torchbearer will provide remote assistance through phone and video conference. The work doesn't end there. Torchbearer will also provide ongoing follow-up to help you see long-term results.

Instrumental in their ministry is music. Tanya is a seasoned singer/songwriter/recording artist who writes music that is relevant and poignant. Her music has been recorded by other artists and sung all over the world. She has co-written songs with both Phil Keaggy and Margaret Becker along with other Dove Award winning/Grammy nominated songwriters.

Biography:

Dallas & Tanya have been married for 12 years and have three beautiful children: Bethlehem, Jeremiah and Ember. Between 1990 and 2003 Tanya sang with her brother (Joel) and her sister (Rami) in the group Simple Truth. During those years they ministered in the Denver area and throughout the country. In 2001 they released the industry acclaimed recording, Hear The Word. In 2002, Simple Truth was the featured artist for a 9/11 anniversary special on the 700 Club Asia. This appearance was recorded during an intensive missionary trip to the Philippines. In 2004, Dallas & Tanya formed the ministry, Torchbearer World Outreach.

Additional ministry experience:

From 1993 – 1995 Tanya was a featured vocalist with Wings of Morning (www.wingsgo.org). During these years she traveled extensively throughout the U.S. as well as trips to Mexico City and Lima, Peru.

Dallas – B.S. Business Management. Currently evaluating Masters of Divinity programs.
